ADBA UTAH OCT 2010

This was a very laid back and relaxing show. Had a good time and the Golden Spike Club fed us well after the show on Saturday..

Dolly took P4P trophy on Saturday and a first in weight pull on Sunday, a 3rd place in conformation and Laramie took a Junior Handlers trophy home too!!!

Dolly's max pull was 2130lbs- Dolly weighed in at 36lbs

Twister took two 1st places in weight pull- he is really starting to do well :) Twister's max pull was 2265lbs- Twister weighed in at 43lbs

Chyna didn't disappoint us either- She took two firsts with no competition :(... BUT she was second in P4P % on Sunday.. out pulling Dolly and Twister as well as 10 other dogs P4P. Plus she had no pull conditioning due to just having enough time after weaning her puppies to fatten her up before this event.

Chyna's max pull was 2265lbs- she weighhed in at 35lbs

Moon took a 2nd place in conformation

ADBA OREGON SEPT 2010

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoX5mdjI7lQ

Moon  took a 3rd place at her first show. Both pups are at a real lanky stage so we will hold off on showing them. No sense in throwing money away :) We do think she looks alot like her daddy.

Laramie took home three 1st places in JR Handlers and a Best Junior Handler trophy!!!!

UKC SHOW- Aug 2010

Madras, OR show- We had our doubts when Fri. morning at the show a swelling under his right jaw was discovered, but Twister succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. He took Best In Multibreed Show, 2 Reserve Ch, Most Weight Pulled, Most Weight Pulled Per Pound, Total Dog Award and accomplished what no dog ever has in UKC by winning BIS along with MWP & MWPPP on the same day in the same show. This is what we have been told- I have not called UKC to verify this yet. Twister also won MWP and MWPPP on Sunday & is now CH and UWPCH.

Dolly did us proud too & she is now UWPCH. Winning her class against a dog we never thought she'd keep up with muchless win the class over.
Twister's top pull was 2360lbs
Dolly's top pull was 2120lbs
Wheels on carpet

UKC SHOW- JUNE 2010

Chehalis, WA.. Met yet more fine folks.. and entered our first time in UKC conformation.. Twister did us proud!! he earned 80pts and two majors by taking a 1st in all four of his regular classes, 2- Best Of Males, 1 Best of Winners and honorable mention- 1 Reserve Best Male. He also completed his UWP and earned 20pts towards his WP title..We hope we have just as positive outcome at the Madras Show in August.. to finish of Twister's CH title
image

Last but not least, in WP... this event leaves Dolly with 70pts, Chyna with 80pts and Danger achieved his UWP CH title!!!
Again, we will be attending Madras, OR show in August to finish the girls UWP CH titles

No photos of Dolly or Danger- too busy in the conformation ring and Ivan as "cart handler" BUT a couple videos of Dolly and Chyna will be posted in the future

ADBA COLORADO SHOW 2010

Laramie took a 2nd and 3rd place in JR Handlers

Chyna took two 1st places in WP.. She had no competition as she weighed in at 34lbs.. no  little females in her class. BUT she didn't quit..on her last round, she dug in until I told the cart handler to push the cart. So, I am proud of her.. No photos as we lost most of the shots off our new camera :(

Dolly's daughter took a 3rd place too!! Congrats, Jen!!

UKC PULL- WENATCHEE, WA 4/2010

We are happy with the results of this event... and met some great folks out there too :)

Chyna- 36lbs- max pull 1960 lbs...2-2nd places

Dolly- 34lbs- max pull-1360... 2 -4th places
image

Twister-44lbs- scratched him after 1760lbs- just a beginner and still working toward his UWP

UKC PULL Montana- QCT 2009

O

All 3 dogs have been UKC registered & earned their UWP.. so we can now work toward CH titles

anyhow we pulled all the dogs to their max this time around even though it wouldn't count officially ..

wheels on carpet.........................

Chyna's best pull was on Sunday-1760lbs-  P4P  she out pulled Danger!! Chyna weighed in at 38lbs. Sure are proud of how well she did considering she has just been seriously in training since Sept of this year.

image

image

Sunday, Danger's best pull was  2280lbs.. he unofficially took P4P in his class and MWP (55 & under) Valerie Piltz (owns Clicker) gave the ribbons to us  ( as she stated it) "technically our two dogs won them) That was very sweet & thoughtful of her..
image

image

image

Dolly was the biggest surprise.. her max pull was 1640 too.. weighing the same as Chyna- 38lbs..  Dolly took second behind her sister Friday & Saturday because her time was slower.

I stressed Dolly out a couple years ago when I started pulling her.. So, she has been in rehabilitation pull training and Ivan pulls her now. She has really come around!

ADBA NATIONALS- UTAH 2009

.Danger took 1st place trophy in his 45-55lb class with total of 12 dogs.

Danger's final weight pulled was 4230lbs. He brought me to tears for pulling his heart out for us..
One bummer was his very first pull started at over 3000lbs; I thought our ship was sunk. the judge set it up that way. 5 dogs went out after the first pull, but Danger wasn't one of them!!

image

Here's the video of Danger's first pull.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lb2M5c98JGk

A video of his 3rd pull at 3980lbs. He pulled a total of 6 times. We have no videos of his last pull..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT7L0pPXAr8

This video didn't come out the greatest but we think it was his 5th pull

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsFQLI32_zA

Danger took 2nd place ribbon in the INVITE conformation..against 7 dogs- one of the largest classes second to CH of CH classes.
For those who show ADBA and know some of the judges,, here's the three judges who spent 10 minutes inspecting Danger. That is how Nationals does it.

Ed Hinckle
Pat Briscoe
Brad Bullock

This photo was taken at home.

image

I don't have photos of Danger's sister and her ribbon.. but she did take a fourth in her INVITE conformation class.

Twisters sister took home a 1st place trophy in her conformation.
Don't pay no attention to the guy with tatoos. He's a sheriff, not a gang banger  :)

image

Laramie took home another 1st place in her Junior Handlers class.

We are thinking we are going to let her show Dolly in future pointed classes. She really does well and Dolly does place sporadically.. too bad Dolly is a blue.  :(

image

image

image

Chyna has improved her pull by 1000lbs .. Plus we have just started her with serious training. At home we had heavy pulled her for about a week.. This show was pretty much to give her a second exposure to pulling on a track and in public. She made us proud even if she didn't win anything.. she likes to pull and just needs a bit more heavy work here at home before we push her at an event.
Her final pull was 67 X her body weight- 2370lbs. Chyna weighed in at exactly 35lbs.

ADBA UTAH - JULY 2009

image

OK.. AND HERE IS RESULTS ON DANGER'S SISTER AND BROTHER(Owned by Joe in Colorado)

Pebbles (Danger's sister) took two 2nd places in conformation and 1st in weight pull.. a really horrid pick of her all sloppy...Joe!! We'll have to pay more attention to your stacking style next time we take photos!!

image

Danger's brother 'Tank" took a second and third place in conformation.
image

There will be one more show this year.. Danger received an invitation to ADBA Nationals, so we will be attending that show in Sept.

Our last show for this year... :(

Bouncer took first and a second in weight pull.

Here is a better photo of Bouncer

Dolly took a first and a third in conformation

Keeper took 1st in her class

Bouncer took second in his class. No photostaken at that pull of Bouncer, but here's a home photo I like alot :)

WESTERN STOCK SHOW PULL 2008

Keeper took home first place in her class. Unfortunately Dolly was disqualified on her first pull because I called her before backing over the finish line. HOW DISAPPOINTING after the weeks of hard work  :(

Bouncer... well he could have showed more effort; he took 4th in his class.

APA WEIGHTPULL 2007

FIRST SERIOUS PULL EVENT.. APA in Brighton, CO
Pounds pulled day 1&2.. Bouncer --1400/1460   Keeper(Micah's daughter)--1040/1220   Dolly--800....
Considering I never decided to go til a couple weeks ago and they had exactly 5 days, one hour a day of practice actually pulling weight added on .. I think? they did fine for beginners. I  expected them to foul out sooner cuz rail track is yet again something new, but I made a point to get to the site before anyone.. 2 hrs early and did a few runs with the leash on them. Dolly was real bad about jumping off the run way, so I didn't pull her the second day. Also didn't try to make them max out for reasons that  the max is not my goal right now.. Keeping it light and learning is.

No pics of Dolly at this pull.

ADBA COLORADO 2007

BOUNCER TOOK SECOND PLACE IN HIS CONFORMATION CLASS ON SUNDAY-

BOUNCER'S DAUGHTERS.....................

CHYNA TOOK HOME SECOND PLACE IN HER CONFORMATION CLASS BOTH DAYS

DOLLY  TOOK HOME THIRD PLACE ON SATURDAY

Both Bouncer's daughters were a little uptight at the show probably due to my being so uptight.. as you can see by my expression and their tails tucked. The judge caught up with me after Chyna's class and said she would have taken first, but I need to get her to relax a bit... In reality I need to relax!

RICOVILLE- BULLY EVENTIN MICHIGAN JULY 2005

Jazz- 2nd in Best Springpole Workout

  Bouncer- 3rd in Conformation

Although Chance didn't win Highest verticle jump- he placed 2nd at 74 inches- no trophy for his accomplishment.

AND HE DOESN'T TAKE A RUN FOR MOMENTUM. CHANCE JUMPS STRAIGHT UP FROM A STANDSTILL....
